Looking Back to Then

Growing up in Libby,Montana was great. I wrote this poem a few years ago as a tribute to friends, family, both living and those lost. Click on the photo to enlarge.

Fox and the Bear

06/30/11 It proved to be a good day at work. Patroling my area on the Prudhoe Bay Oil Field, I had the chance to observe these two charecters. Mama Fox was very concerned that the big guy was after her kits, but as it turned out he decided on the salad. He just chewed some grass up and then was chased off the foxes den hill.
