Northern Lights in Prudhoe

This is a photo I took back in 2003. The Northern Lights are not an easy subject to photograph. The ones that appear this far north do not have the wide range of colors and as a rule are pretty much green most of the time. But still fascinating to watch and seem to be alive.

Another thing on my "bucket list" is to see the northern lights. I cannot imagine such ethereal beauty, Randy. Thank you for sharing this little piece of your world with us.

I love that! I was told that I will be able to see some of them here in South Dakota. I hope I do! What a beautiful photo!
