Invisible Artist

I took this photo October of 2006 in the window of the camp that I call home, while working on the North Slope in Alaska. I took the photo hoping to catch the orange glow in the frost from the setting sun, which during this time of year is not visible for very long. It was not until I downloaded the photos onto my laptop, that I discovered the images of two hummingbirds in the frost. The images appeared on the inside pane of a double pane window. Very strange indeed. I would love to receive some comments on this one.

I am going to add your link in my blog if that's ok with you. I particularly LOVE this photo.

I have always wanted to go into the bush of Alaska with my camera. I used to do some panning on the American River. A friend who lives in OR has a claim in Alaska and makes a yearly trip for a couple of months with friends who also prospect.

I just sent you an email.

Happy Saturday. I'm going to take off in my kayak to see if I can find the way to what may be an bald eagle nest.

OMG - yes, I can see the hummingbirds! This fantastic photo gives me chills, Randy! Thank you so much for sharing this with us all. Living in the South we rarely get frost and ice on our window. That you received a gift of two "hummers" on the inside of your double-pane window? Very thought-provoking.

While I have everyone's attention, I hope May (above) finds the bald eagles. In a kayak? Lovely!
