
About four years ago I snapped this shot of a porta-potty that had been delivered to the Central Check Point on Prudhoe Bay. The toilet inside the check point was in-op at the time. So, the mystery is solved about where one might do a nature call in 60 below zero weather in the Arctic.

I literally laughed out loud when I saw "crapper in a wrapper" and then even harder when I saw the picture. And this is why I don't live/work in Alaska.

A crapper with steps....I can't imagine sitting down in a porta potty at 60 degrees below... The picture is quite a pretty color of blue though.... judy
